Ingredients

1 ½ oz Fernet-Vallet
1 ¼ oz ginger syrup*
½ oz lime juice
2 mint leaves

Instructions

Put all ingredients into a shaker with ice, shake vigorously and double-strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with fresh mint.

*Ginger Syrup

In a blender, combine one cup of chopped fresh ginger, one cup of white sugar, and one cup of water just off boiling. Cover the lid with a dishtowel to prevent steam escaping, and blend until smooth. Strain through a fine-mesh strainer, keep refrigerated.
